New category. What better way to end a pause is there? (Really, I'm going for "end" here not just another interrupt...)

Anyways... I guess I'm not the only one who sometimes, when we hearing someone who's supposed to know about "things" on the news, just thinks 'Hullo?? You ever been out here with the rest of us?' To those great minds I hereby dedicate this category. If I bothered to listen to the news closely enough often enough it would probably warrant a whole blog on its own, but do I really feel like depressing myself that way? Nah, thx.

The first entry sports a somewhat unlikely competitor (or maybe not, we'll see), namely the German Consumer Organisation. It has just given out advice on the dos and don'ts of financing for consumers aka "ways of saving your money that actually let you keep it". Good idea, I'm all for the keeping instead of flushing down the drain!

However, they concluded their sage advise with, and I translate the paraphrase, emphasis added by yours truly:

Everyone should absolutely check all of their investments. Take a few hours!

Excuse me, I'm busy ckecking. This is gonna take a while, so don't wait up kids. Now, if I only knew how many houses I own...
